Duties & Responsibilities
Identify and develop new business opportunities in the logistics industry.
Maintain and grow existing customer accounts secured by the executive, through effective relationship management and customer service.
Follow up on new leads and referrals.
Achieve sales targets and revenue goals.
Prepare and deliver presentations to potential and existing customers.
Negotiate contracts and pricing with customers.
Collaborate with other departments, including operations and customer service, to ensure customer satisfaction.

Technical requirements:
Proven track record of achieving sales targets and growing customer accounts
Matric
Minimum 5 years relevant industry experience
Import/Export/Cross Trade Air/Sea knowledge
Previous experience with the Ship Shape system will be advantageous
Proficiency using MS Word, Excel, and Outlook
Excellent knowledge of Incoterms and all major trade lanes into South Africa.

Excellent communication, negotiation, and customer service skills.
Strong organizational and time-management skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Ability to travel as needed.
