Minimum Requirements
• 5+ years’ experience in port operations, logistics, or customs‑related environments.
• Established relationships with Customs, SARS, and Port Authorities (non‑negotiable).
• Strong understanding of customs clearance processes, port regulations, and compliance frameworks.
• Proven supervisory or team‑lead experience.
• Excellent communication, problem‑solving, and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced, high‑pressure harbour environment.
• Willingness to work flexible hours when operational demands require it.

Preferred Skills
• Experience with cargo documentation systems and port management platforms.
• Knowledge of import/export regulations and bonded cargo procedures.
• Strong organisational and coordination abilities.
