Key Focus Areas:
• Manage the full lifecycle of customer contracts, including start-ups, renewals, amendments and change management.
• Act as the primary operational interface between the company and customer.
• Ensure compliance with contractual obligations, SLAs, KPIs and service commitments.
• Monitor contract performance, identify risks and implement corrective actions and continuous improvements.
• Manage customer relationships, escalations, operational reviews and service delivery.
• Oversee daily transport operations, fleet utilisation, route planning, driver management and resource allocation.
• Manage contract P&L, budgets, costs, profitability, rate adjustments and financial reporting.
• Monitor operational KPIs including fuel, kilometres, utilisation, on-time delivery, tonnage and fleet uptime.
• Lead, manage and develop operational teams, including performance, discipline and employee engagement.
• Ensure QHSE, legal, regulatory, mine and contractual compliance.
• Manage reporting, dashboards, audits, data integrity and document control.
• Identify opportunities for contract growth, cost optimisation and improved service delivery.

Minimum Requirements:
• Matric
• At least 5 years’ experience in transport management
• At least 2 years’ experience as a manager
• Knowledge of transport methods, costs and benefits
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Complex problem-solving skills / Good attention to detail / Good use of email / Excellent communicator
