Key Focus Areas:
• Coordinate and monitor air import shipments from origin to final destination.
• Receive and process pre-alerts and shipping documentation from overseas agents.
• Open shipment files and capture accurate shipment details on the company system.
• Track incoming shipments and follow up with airlines, overseas agents and relevant stakeholders regarding shipment status.
• Obtain and verify air waybills, commercial invoices, packing lists and other import documentation.
• Liaise with airlines, customs clearing agents, transporters and clients to ensure timely cargo clearance and delivery.
• Assist with customs clearance procedures and ensure all required documentation is submitted.
• Monitor flight arrivals and keep clients updated on shipment progress.
• Arrange cargo collection and delivery once customs clearance has been completed.
• Follow up on outstanding documents and resolve shipment-related queries.
• Assist with invoicing, cost capturing and maintaining accurate shipment records.
• Ensure compliance with company procedures and applicable customs and import regulations.

Minimum Requirements:
• Recent graduate with a qualification in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, International Trade or a related field preferred.
• Approximately 1 year of experience in the clearing and forwarding industry, preferably in air imports.
• Basic understanding of air freight import procedures and customs documentation.
• Computer literate, with good data capturing and administrative skills.
• Strong communication, organisational and time-management skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to learn and develop within the air freight industry.
